Stephanie Baffone

Hi, I’m Stephanie and welcome to  my virtual home!

Come on in and get comfy while I tell you a little about myself.

I’m a licensed, board certified mental health therapist whose guiding principle is–if you have wisdom from which others might benefit, you are obligated to pass it on.

While I’d be happy to discuss your specific concerns, I specialize in the following areas:

  • Grief and loss (including children over 14 years old)
  • Infertility
  • Relationship issues/Marriage counseling

I know looking for the “right” therapist can be a daunting task. It might be helpful to know, I felt it was necessary to earn the right to accompany others on their personal psychological journeys, not only through a formal education, but most especially, by having the courage to embark on the same psychological journey on which I would accompany my clients. Having now been on the “couch” myself, I have a deep comfort level with, and unparalleled respect for the therapeutic process.

Prior to going back into private practice, I worked as the coordinator of the children’s grief and loss program at the largest hospice in the state of Delaware where I had the distinct privilege of supporting and guiding children whose loved ones were dying from terminal illnesses. In addition to my work as a therapist, I’m a consultant to other agencies developing programs on grief and loss.

I’m a proud graduate of Villanova Universityand a member of The American Counseling Association and  National Board of Certified Counselors. I’ve been sought out as a source and featured in, both print, radio and television media, including The Huffington Post, Counseling Today, First for Women Magazine, MORE Magazine, Ben FM 97.5, WDEL 1150AM Saturday Hot Spot, Blog Talk Radio, CN8, WHYY, The News Journal, Staten Island Parent’s Magazine and The Berk’s County Family Times.
